A quick note of thanks

It is the most amazing feeling to have all of the notes, cards, phone calls e mails etc. that I have received over the past few weeks. I have spoken to people I havn't spoken to in over 20 years. I have had such warm conversations with people I speak to everyday and just have taken that for granted. I would never have imagined that I would have gotten this much attention but I must say I love it. I can never be able to respond to all of you in the way in which you have gotten in touch with me but I really just want to say I love you all and thanks for the support . You will never know what it really means to me and my family. We all thank you so much.

I think it speaks volumes on the type of person you are and have been your entire life dad. You have always been there and put others before yourself and now its pay back time.

I want to expound on your comments about the support that everyone has shown during the past month. It has been nothing short of amazing to experience the type of love and support from everyone in my life, whether they are best friends or acquaintances. It is unfortunate that certain things are only realized once a horrible situation takes place, but it really does open your eyes to all the compassion that people have. I thank everyone for their love and support.

while i have known mark for many , many years i was blessed with the opportunity to meet with him each saturday for breakfast at which time we solve all the world's problems.....before we get down to the issues of the day, inevitably the discussion turns to our families...while i have never had the opportunity to meet nicky ,dan ,jeremy or his pride and joy granddaughter i have learned enough about them to make the following comments...nothing brings a beaming smile to mark's face more than talking about the intense love and devotion he has to his entire family....your blossoming professional careers , family vacations , sharing of holidays makes for a storybook family...
mark , when you thank your family and friends for their endless caring and love for you , it's only a small return for the love and respect you have earned and deserve...let's pray that your competitive spirit , toughness from being raised in the bronx and most importantly the caring and devotion from both your family and friends will help defeat this health issue...i hope i can meet your family in the not to distant future and share some stories about the man we all love and care for...and remember mark , we l.i.u. bronx boys stick together and are always here for you..here's to a "speedy" recovery...love yaaaaaa
